Matrix Template Builder
Work through all six components of the Matrix Template Exercise with guided scaffolding, then generate a complete Innovation Portfolio summary.
How to Use
Work through the six tabs in order:
- Contradiction — State your contradiction and justify that it is structural (not just a trade-off).
- Matrix Diagram — Label your axes, click to place examples in the quadrant space, describe your Q4 target.
- Kernel — Apply the four-step kernel: identify the contradiction, list assumptions, invert them, generate synthesis candidates.
- Synthesis Candidates — Compare candidates using a structured scoring table (thesis performance, antithesis performance, feasibility).
- Systems Analysis — Map current vs. Q4-supporting configurations for Environment, Culture, Mindset, and Process.
- Roadmap — Build a three-stage innovation roadmap and identify key dependencies.
Click Generate Portfolio Summary to compile your work into a formatted document.
Learning Objective
